In 1974, Larry Marsh opened Marsh Heating & Air Conditioning, a family-run company in Brooklyn Park. While almost five decades have passed, the company has seen continued growth, remained a Marsh family business, and become known for its exceptional customer service and quality of care.

That dedication to customer service earned Marsh Heating & Air Conditioning the certification as a Dave Lennox Premier Dealer, which gave the company access to Lennox top-tier signature products. With that distinction in hand, the company caught the attention of a national major warehouse retailer. The retailer, which offers its customers a line of heating and air conditioning units, needed a partner for its Minneapolis metro locations. They turned to Marsh Heating & Air Conditioning as their go-to installers. That partnership led to a growth in business and the company now has about 50 of its employees working directly out of four of the retail outlets in the Minneapolis area.

When the pandemic hit, Marsh Heating & Air Conditioning remained an essential business. While an initial decline in service calls signaled many customers were opting to postpone their heating and air conditioning needs, the slow times didn’t cause the company doors to shutter. The company retained its employees and waited patiently for business to pick up once again. Sure enough, they ended 2020 with more business than in the previous year.

Marsh Heating & Air Conditioning also found that the pandemic has opened up new opportunities for the company, which is now providing equipment to customers looking to combat coronavirus particles. The company is now offering Pure Air from Lennox, a new product that utilizes blue light technology to remove and kill dust mites, allergens and particles that may increase the circulation of Covid-19 in indoor spaces.
